California's First Cannabis Beverage, CQ, Expands to Arizona with Tropical 100mg THC Shots
California’s First Cannabis Beverage, CQ, Is Launching In Arizona.
California’s first cannabis beverage, CQ (originally known as Cannabis Quencher), just announced that they are entering the Arizona market via a partnership with Flow Distribution and Petalfast, known for their work in the state with brands such as 22Red and Stiizy.
Originally started as Venice Cookie Company in 2008, CQ has slowly grown to become a nationwide brand with their state by state expansion in the dispensary channel. Their low-dose hemp derived D9 spritzers are available nationwide at DrinkCQ.
Available in Arizona dispensaries in mid August, CQ arrives just in time to enjoy an Indian summer with their 2oz, 100mg THC signature shots available in indica, sativa and hybrid options. Made with real fruit juice and organic and natural ingredients, each shot contains under 7g of sugar and 26 calories.
Arizonans can expect a variety of flavors, including fan favorites like Strawberry Lemonade and Nighttime Berry Lime. Mango Lemonade will be exclusively available for purchase in Arizona as a 1:1 CBD offering, rounding out the perfect line of tropical goodness.
“As an elevated shot that is also packaged to be a mixer, CQ appeals to a broader and more sophisticated base than the current shots in Arizona which are basically meant to be choked down in one gulp while holding your breath. CQ always wins the taste test. It isn’t the cheapest, it’s the best,” says Kenny Morrison, founder of CQ.
Ever since the California brand entered Massachusetts’ dispensary market in the summer of 2022, CQ has seen an exponential growth in sales and notoriety.
After subsequent successful expansions into Illinois, Michigan, Washington and Massachusetts, CQ plans to expand the high dose offerings to 10 dispensary states by the end of 2024. The brand is thrilled to be introducing their bright and tropical 100mg shot flavors to Arizona, while unveiling an improved nano-emulsion formula that drastically reduces bitterness compared to competitors.
