Celebrate 4/20 in with deep-fried Twinkies, all-you-can-eat pizza, parties and rallies for Cannabis

On the first 4/20, after Connecticut legalized marijuana, several Hartford-area venues are having events to celebrate, both on April 20 and the days after.

One event is serious: CT CannaWarriors 4/20 Rally at the Capitol Building in Hartford, Thursday starting at 11 a.m. The rally advocates for expanding cannabis rights in the state.

Feeling stressed in the morning? If you start your day by checking your phone, you may be exposing yourself to stressful or negative information. Here’s how to take control of your morning. Veuer has more.

Other events are for just for fun. At dispensaries, consumption is typically not allowed on the premises. As for other venues, cannabis use is allowed at some places, and not at others. Make sure to ask before using. Events listed as “420-friendly” allow usage.

Here is a list. It is not all-inclusive.
