Cannabis dispensary owner given “second chance”

From Conviction to Cannabis: Second Chance Entrepreneur Set to Open Adult-Use Dispensary in Wawayanda.

WAWAYANDA – Howard Labron is excited about being given a second chance at a meaningful life now that he has been granted state permission to open an adult-use cannabis dispensary in Wawayanda.

He is thankful for the opportunity to open his shop, Orange Cannabis Co., in the days ahead.

“I was convicted of something and at the time of my conviction I was like, ‘wow, my life is ruined,’ but then, I guess they made amends for it. They gave me the opportunity and I’m actually happy. I’m ecstatic,” he said.

Last week, Labron held a job fair seeking potential employees to handle all aspects of his new business.
