Watertown Police Seize Marijuana Products from Local Smoke Shops Amid Illegal Sales Probe.

Local police said marijuana products were seized from two different smoke shops as officers were investigating allegations of illegal sales.

The Watertown Police Department said in a post on Facebook that Smoke King on Buckingham Street and Smoke Empire on Straits Turnpike were searched after officers obtained warrants.

Before the search warrants were executed, both shops sold investigators marijuana, the department said.

Police said several types of marijuana and THC products were seized from both stores. They added that Smoke Empire was in possession of "approximately two and a half pounds of marijuana and further THC infused gummies and other THC products."

The investigation into the illegal sales of marijuana and THC products at both of the smoke shops remains active, police said.
