People should be free to do what they want with their plants.

Possession of cannabis should never have been prohibited. Pennsylvania will relegalize it, primarily for financial gains. I believe the reason should be to restore our basic human right to grow and use plants.

Where in the Constitution does it suggest the role of government is to prohibit citizens from growing and using plants? I wish to grow cannabis for its medical and health benefits. What harm befalls others if I grow cannabis plants on my property. Who is the victim of that crime? Unfortunately, the harm is unrealized tax and profit by others.

Why can I produce alcohol and grow tobacco, which kill millions, but not a nontoxic plant. The same can be said of psilocybin mushrooms. I’d like to use them for medical benefit, but that’s illegal. I can grow mushrooms that can kill, but not those that can alter my consciousness and offer health benefits.

One stated concern is these natural products will be used by children. Other than when recommended by a doctor, they should be illegal for children. But why isn’t that same concern applied to guns, alcohol and unsecured pharmaceuticals — all of which do kill children but are legal for adults.
