Police in several Connecticut neighbourhoods are cracking down on vape shops for selling marijuana and hallucinogens without a license.
Norwalk police say 36-year-old Yazid Abdulmalek Mohammed was arrested at the Smoke House on Connecticut Avenue on Wednesday. He now faces multiple charges including possession with intent to sell hallucinogens.
Authorities say they also seized psychedelic mushrooms from the store, over a kilogram of marijuana and several hundred products containing THC levels exceeding the legal limit.
Mohammed is expected back in court on July 31.
