According to investigators, the break-in occurred shortly after 1 a.m., when suspects forced entry, caused thousands of dollars in damage, and stole a large quantity of cannabis products. This high-profile cannabis store burglary alarmed many local businesses and drew swift action from the Wenatchee Police Department. Detectives with the Wenatchee Police worked closely with patrol and school resource officers to track the stolen goods. More than $1,200 worth of merchandise linked to the cannabis store burglary was eventually recovered during a follow-up call. Authorities credit the teamwork of multiple divisions within the Wenatchee Police for the quick turnaround on the case. A critical break came when a household member of one suspect reported a suspicious item to the Wenatchee Police. An officer immediately recognized it as evidence tied to the cannabis store burglary, prompting detectives to execute multiple search warrants. This coordinated effort allowed investigators to identify additional evidence and connect the suspects to the crime. Both juveniles have now been booked into the Chelan County Juvenile Justice Center in relation to the cannabis store burglary. Detective Lorenzo Cornelio, serving as the point of contact for the Wenatchee Police, stated that the investigation remains ongoing but praised the community for cooperating with law enforcement.   By reporting suspicious items, residents helped the Wenatchee Police solve a complex cannabis store burglary quickly. Officials say the case illustrates how partnerships between officers, schools, and community members can protect businesses and deter future crimes. Local shop owners are taking note of the cannabis store burglary as a reminder to strengthen security measures. The Wenatchee Police have encouraged all cannabis retailers and other age-restricted businesses to review alarm systems, surveillance cameras, and entry protocols to minimize risks. With the suspects now in custody, the Wenatchee Police hope their swift response sends a message that crimes such as this cannabis store burglary will be investigated thoroughly. Anyone with additional information is urged to contact Detective Cornelio at the Wenatchee Police Department.   [by Source One News](https://www.yoursourceone.com/columbia_basin/wenatchee-police-arrest-two-juveniles-after-cannabis-store-burglary/article_e5272954-71d0-4de9-986a-791f5afd4b39.html) [Marijuana legalization](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/marijuana-legalization) ![Buzz](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png?width=200&height=200&name=Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png) #### [Buzz](https://420intel.com/blog/author/buzz) At 420 Intel, we cover cannabis legalization news throughout the world, offer reliable information for cannabis business owners, detail technological advances that impact the marijuana industry, cover marijuana rallies from across the globe, and everything in between. - - - [Medical Cannabis News](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/medical-cannabis-news) [![Secure Kids: Free THC Storage Bags from Health Agency](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/AI-Generated%20Media/Images/The%20image%20depicts%20a%20concerned%20parent%20crouched%20beside%20a%20kitchen%20counter%20their%20face%20etched%20with%20worry%20as%20they%20discover%20a%20brightly%20colored%20cannabis%20edible%20resembling%20a%20candy%20In%20the%20background%20a%20small%20child%20with%20curious%20wide%20eyes%20reaches%20toward%20the%20count.jpeg?width=550&height=395&name=The%20image%20depicts%20a%20concerned%20parent%20crouched%20beside%20a%20kitchen%20counter%20their%20face%20etched%20with%20worry%20as%20they%20discover%20a%20brightly%20colored%20cannabis%20edible%20resembling%20a%20candy%20In%20the%20background%20a%20small%20child%20with%20curious%20wide%20eyes%20reaches%20toward%20the%20count.jpeg)](https://420intel.com/blog/secure-kids-free-thc-storage-bags-from-health-agency) - [![Buzz](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png?width=80&height=80&name=Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png) Buzz](https://420intel.com/blog/author/buzz) - 3 July 2025 #### [Secure Kids: Free THC Storage Bags from Health Agency](https://420intel.com/blog/secure-kids-free-thc-storage-bags-from-health-agency) In a troubling trend, Michigan’s poison control center received 387 reports in 2024 of children...
