Named **Badger G**, the innovative strain was developed in partnership with researchers from Madison and is set to hit the market within the next three to four months. What makes **Badger G** stand out is its complete lack of THC the psychoactive compound responsible for the “high” commonly associated with cannabis. Instead, this strain is rich in CBG (cannabigerol), a lesser-known but highly promising cannabinoid often referred to as “the mother of all cannabinoids.” According to Herbal Aspect, the Madison-based cannabis firm behind the launch, the **THC-free** nature of Badger G makes it a game-changer for processors, manufacturers, and retailers, particularly those operating in highly regulated environments. In markets where THC restrictions are strict or zero-tolerance policies are in place, a reliable **THC-free** hemp strain can open up new possibilities for product development and distribution. “Because Badger G contains zero THC, it allows us to confidently develop a wide range of **THC-free** wellness and therapeutic products,” a spokesperson from Herbal Aspect said.   CBG itself is gaining attention for its potential health benefits. Preliminary research and anecdotal evidence suggest it may be effective in reducing inflammation and helping with certain neurodegenerative disorders such as Huntington’s disease. Additionally, it has shown promise in treating glaucoma, demonstrating antibacterial properties, and even offering potential activity against antibiotic-resistant bacteria like MRSA. The fact that Badger G is **THC-free** doesn’t just make it appealing for those avoiding psychoactive effects it also makes it more suitable for children, seniors, or those who are drug-tested in their professions. This broader consumer accessibility is expected to position the product strongly in wellness and health markets across the U.S. and beyond. For cannabis processors and product developers, the arrival of a **THC-free** strain like Badger G means fewer complications when it comes to legal compliance and labeling. In fact, many companies face roadblocks when trying to market products that even contain trace amounts of THC, especially in states where cannabis laws are more restrictive. A 100% **THC-free** ingredient eliminates those concerns. In addition, the ability to cultivate a **THC-free** strain from the ground up rather than relying on post-processing THC removal saves time, resources, and ensures greater consistency in the final product. As more consumers become interested in cannabinoids like CBD and CBG for wellness, the demand for **THC-free** options is only expected to grow. Badger G may just be the beginning of a larger shift toward non-psychoactive, cannabinoid-rich hemp strains that support both health and compliance. With its official release just months away, Badger G is poised to put Wisconsin on the map for cutting-edge, **THC-free** hemp innovation offering a safer, research-backed alternative in an industry that continues to evolve.   [by Youtube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NItvIcjovOk) [Cannabis Technology News](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/cannabis-technology-news) ![Buzz](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png?width=200&height=200&name=Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png) #### [Buzz](https://420intel.com/blog/author/buzz) At 420 Intel, we cover cannabis legalization news throughout the world, offer reliable information for cannabis business owners, detail technological advances that impact the marijuana industry, cover marijuana rallies from across the globe, and everything in between. - - - [Cannabis Business News](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/cannabis-business-news) [![2022 cannabis sales: An Oregon county is No. 1 for a third time](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/2022%20cannabis%20sales%20An%20Oregon%20county%20is%20No_%201%20for%20a%20third%20time.jpg?width=550&height=395&name=2022%20cannabis%20sales%20An%20Oregon%20county%20is%20No_%201%20for%20a%20third%20time.jpg)](https://420intel.com/blog/2022-cannabis-sales-oregon-county-no-1-third-time) - [Admin](https://420intel.com/blog/author/admin) - 7 March 2024 #### [2022 cannabis sales: An Oregon county is No. 1 for a third time](https://420intel.com/blog/2022-cannabis-sales-oregon-county-no-1-third-time) ## Despite a 6.4% sales decline, Malheur County was Oregon's per capita leader in cannabis sales in...
