Last week, police executed a large-scale operation, raiding a warehouse and eight vape shops tied to VIP Smoke. Now, 29-year-old Abdallah Jera, the owner of one of the stores, and 30-year-old Leon Abu Zayd, an employee, are facing felony charges. Jera is accused of marijuana trafficking, while Abu Zayd faces similar charges along with allegations of selling tobacco products to individuals under 21. New Town’s police chief has indicated that additional charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues. The crackdown underscores law enforcement’s focus on illegal cannabis distribution and underage sales in the region.   [by Youtube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nU6ne_qG7yw) [Recreational Cannabis News](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/recreational-cannabis-news) ![Buzz](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png?width=200&height=200&name=Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png) #### [Buzz](https://420intel.com/blog/author/buzz) At 420 Intel, we cover cannabis legalization news throughout the world, offer reliable information for cannabis business owners, detail technological advances that impact the marijuana industry, cover marijuana rallies from across the globe, and everything in between. - - - [Cannabis Politics](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/cannabis-politics) [![Medical marijuana oversight bill advances after Spotlight PA investigations reveal doctor concerns](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/AI-Generated%20Media/Images/The%20image%20depicts%20a%20busy%20legislative%20hearing%20room%20in%20a%20state%20capitol%20filled%20with%20lawmakers%20seated%20at%20a%20long%20table%20Some%20are%20engaged%20in%20conversation%20while%20others%20are%20reviewing%20documents%20and%20taking%20notes%20on%20laptops%20A%20large%20display%20screen%20at%20the%20front%20sh-1.jpeg?width=550&height=395&name=The%20image%20depicts%20a%20busy%20legislative%20hearing%20room%20in%20a%20state%20capitol%20filled%20with%20lawmakers%20seated%20at%20a%20long%20table%20Some%20are%20engaged%20in%20conversation%20while%20others%20are%20reviewing%20documents%20and%20taking%20notes%20on%20laptops%20A%20large%20display%20screen%20at%20the%20front%20sh-1.jpeg)](https://420intel.com/blog/medical-marijuana-oversight-bill-advances-after-spotlight-pa-investigations-reveal-doctor-concerns) - [![Buzz](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png?width=80&height=80&name=Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png) Buzz](https://420intel.com/blog/author/buzz) - 27 March 2025 #### [Medical marijuana oversight bill advances after Spotlight PA investigations reveal doctor concerns](https://420intel.com/blog/medical-marijuana-oversight-bill-advances-after-spotlight-pa-investigations-reveal-doctor-concerns) HARRISBURG — A series of Spotlight PA investigations has led state lawmakers to intensify their...
