The police Code Enforcement Unit issued citations totaling $4.1 million in connection with the houses over the past three to four months, the department said Saturday on social media. Some of the grow houses were in the area of Gary Filat Neighborhood Park. All eight properties were connected with Chinese nationals, according to police. While marijuana use is legal in California, police say the indoor grows pose a risk of fires from electrical overload. They also are dangerous due to chemical use and structural modifications, according to police.   [by ABC7News](https://abc7news.com/post/fairfield-drug-bust-8-grow-houses-shut-down-8000-marijuana-plants-seized-north-bay/15535833/) [Recreational Cannabis News](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/recreational-cannabis-news) ![Buzz](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png?width=200&height=200&name=Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png) #### [Buzz](https://420intel.com/blog/author/buzz) At 420 Intel, we cover cannabis legalization news throughout the world, offer reliable information for cannabis business owners, detail technological advances that impact the marijuana industry, cover marijuana rallies from across the globe, and everything in between. - - - [Cannabis Jobs](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/cannabis-jobs) [![A growing number of companies are dropping Marijuana drug testing](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/A%20growing%20number%20of%20companies%20are%20dropping%20Marijuana%20drug%20testing.jpg?width=550&height=395&name=A%20growing%20number%20of%20companies%20are%20dropping%20Marijuana%20drug%20testing.jpg)](https://420intel.com/blog/growing-number-companies-are-dropping-marijuana-drug-testing) - [Admin](https://420intel.com/blog/author/admin) - 7 March 2024 #### [A growing number of companies are dropping Marijuana drug testing](https://420intel.com/blog/growing-number-companies-are-dropping-marijuana-drug-testing) ## As more states make the move to legalize marijuana, a growing number of businesses are eliminating...
