The previous monthly sales peak, $17.2 million, was reached in December.  Earlier this month, [the city accepted $125,000 in revenue from the 3 percent municipal taxes from Venu](https://www.middletownpress.com/news/article/middletown-city-hall-security-cannabis-tax-125k-19742737.php).    [By Cassandra Day](https://www.middletownpress.com/news/article/middletown-ct-zoning-cannabis-retail-downtown-main-19785977.php)  ### **For more Cannabis News like this, circle back to **[**420intel.com**](https://420intel.com/)**!** ### [**420 Intel News**](https://420intel.com/content/about-us)** | **[**420 Advertising**](https://420intel.com/contact/advertising_opportunities)** | **[**Cannabis Business News**](https://420intel.com/articles/marijuana-business-news)** | **[**Medical Marijuana News**](https://420intel.com/articles/medical-cannabis-news)** | **[**Recreational Marijuana News**](https://420intel.com/articles/recreational-marijuana-news) [Recreational Cannabis News](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/recreational-cannabis-news) ![Buzz](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png?width=200&height=200&name=Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png) #### [Buzz](https://420intel.com/blog/author/buzz) At 420 Intel, we cover cannabis legalization news throughout the world, offer reliable information for cannabis business owners, detail technological advances that impact the marijuana industry, cover marijuana rallies from across the globe, and everything in between. - - - [Recreational Cannabis News](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/recreational-cannabis-news) [![Effort to ban THC moving through Texas legislature](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/AI-Generated%20Media/Images/In%20a%20vibrant%20Texas%20legislative%20chamber%20a%20heated%20debate%20unfolds%20Legislators%20sit%20at%20polished%20wooden%20desks%20some%20with%20furrowed%20brows%20while%20others%20are%20animatedly%20gesturing%20A%20large%20screen%20displays%20the%20title%20Senate%20Bill%203%20%20THC%20Ban%20illuminating%20the%20faces%20of.jpeg?width=550&height=395&name=In%20a%20vibrant%20Texas%20legislative%20chamber%20a%20heated%20debate%20unfolds%20Legislators%20sit%20at%20polished%20wooden%20desks%20some%20with%20furrowed%20brows%20while%20others%20are%20animatedly%20gesturing%20A%20large%20screen%20displays%20the%20title%20Senate%20Bill%203%20%20THC%20Ban%20illuminating%20the%20faces%20of.jpeg)](https://420intel.com/blog/effort-to-ban-thc-moving-through-texas-legislature) - [![Buzz](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png?width=80&height=80&name=Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png) Buzz](https://420intel.com/blog/author/buzz) - 11 April 2025 #### [Effort to ban THC moving through Texas legislature](https://420intel.com/blog/effort-to-ban-thc-moving-through-texas-legislature) [Recreational Cannabis News](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/recreational-cannabis-news) [![Enforcement struggling amidst booming industry](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/AI-Generated%20Media/Images/Enforcement%20struggling%20amidst%20booming%20industry.jpeg?width=550&height=395&name=Enforcement%20struggling%20amidst%20booming%20industry.jpeg)](https://420intel.com/blog/enforcement-struggling-amidst-booming-industry) - [![Buzz](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png?width=80&height=80&name=Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png) Buzz](https://420intel.com/blog/author/buzz) - 21 October 2024 #### [Enforcement struggling amidst booming industry](https://420intel.com/blog/enforcement-struggling-amidst-booming-industry) The cannabis business is booming in New Mexico, according to the industry's top officials, so much...
