The Oz Club is the newest cannabis dispensary to light up Easthampton, Massachusetts and it’s already making waves in the local cannabis scene. Located at 17 East St., just off Route 5, Oz Club marks the fifth dispensary in the city and the third venture by experienced cannabis entrepreneurs Volkan Polatol and Kevin Perrier.
What makes Oz Club stand out isn’t just its sleek, accessible location or its founders’ proven track record — it’s the “outlet model” that offers unbeatable prices for larger orders. “We wanted to give consumers better access to affordable cannabis,” said Polatol. “Our outlet model means huge inventory, great selection, and prices no one can touch in the state.”
Inside Oz Club, customers will notice something unique shelves filled with real product behind the registers. According to the owners, this setup makes Oz Club the first dispensary in Massachusetts to store its products directly on the sales floor. Each shelf has shutter doors that close securely at the end of the day, meeting all Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) requirements while keeping the experience open and convenient for shoppers.
Though the website currently lists only a fraction of its inventory, Oz Club plans to grow into a true cannabis hub — where local cultivators and manufacturers can showcase their products at the lowest possible prices.
The site once housed Budzee, a cannabis delivery service run by the same owners. After challenges in licensing and profitability, the duo decided to pivot to a retail model and Oz Club was born. With experience from their other successful dispensaries, Dreamer in Southampton and Honey in Northampton, the owners have cultivated a loyal customer base and a team of well-trained staff ready to deliver the same excellence at Oz Club.
Wemelco Industries, the parent company behind Oz Club, manufactures several popular cannabis brands like CQ infused drinks, Goat pre-rolls, Honey vapes, Papa’s Herb, and Nectar mocktails. While Wemelco doesn’t grow cannabis, it’s known for its innovation and wide product range much of which will be featured prominently at Oz Club.
As the Massachusetts cannabis market matures, Polatol and Perrier believe that value, location, and service will define the winners. “No one’s going to walk into Oz Club, see our prices, our selection, and leave unimpressed,” said Polatol.
