Callum Hanton, CEO of Bubble Bud said: "The lack of accurate, standardized testing protocols for cannabis beverages is allowing products with THC levels an average of 41 percent above legal limits to flood the market. Some beverages were tested to be overdosed by over 71 percent. Not only does this compromise product consistency and market integrity, it also exposes consumers to serious health risks from unknowing overconsumption." Bubble Bud is calling on the regulated cannabis industry to join in prioritizing consumer safety and advocating for collaboration between industry, government, and regulators to enhance THC regulation enforcement and develop more effective testing protocols.   [by MMJ Daily](https://www.mmjdaily.com/article/9665734/canada-bubble-bud-calls-on-government-to-address-flaws-in-cannabis-beverage-testing/) [Recreational Cannabis News](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/recreational-cannabis-news) [Cannabis Technology News](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/cannabis-technology-news) ![Buzz](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png?width=200&height=200&name=Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png) #### [Buzz](https://420intel.com/blog/author/buzz) At 420 Intel, we cover cannabis legalization news throughout the world, offer reliable information for cannabis business owners, detail technological advances that impact the marijuana industry, cover marijuana rallies from across the globe, and everything in between. - - - [Cannabis Business News](https://420intel.com/blog/tag/cannabis-business-news) [![Alternate Cannabis Business Granted Second Chance Now](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/AdobeStock_485339152.jpeg?width=550&height=395&name=AdobeStock_485339152.jpeg)](https://420intel.com/blog/alternate-cannabis-business-granted-second-chance-now) - [![Buzz](https://420intel.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png?width=80&height=80&name=Buzz-No%20Outline-2.png) Buzz](https://420intel.com/blog/author/buzz) - 16 October 2025 #### [Alternate Cannabis Business Granted Second Chance Now](https://420intel.com/blog/alternate-cannabis-business-granted-second-chance-now) ROCHESTER, Minn. – After missing out on Olmsted County’s initial **cannabis business** lottery, local...
