Big News: Cape Coral To Get A 'Cannabis Café'

A brand-new Cannabis Café is brewing up excitement — and a bit of controversy — in Cape Coral, Florida. Seed & Bean Market, a popular CBD and wellness brand already established in downtown Fort Myers, is preparing to open its second Cannabis Café location at The Cove on 47th. This new venture promises to bring a fresh twist to dining and relaxation with hemp-infused lattes, organic meals, and a chill coastal vibe.

The cannabis Café concept has been steadily growing nationwide, and Florida is the latest state to embrace it. Co-founder Todd Peacock of Seed & Bean Market says their cannabis Café will be unlike anything the area has seen before. “We were the first in Florida to introduce this type of café experience,” Peacock explained.

“It’s all about organic food, natural ingredients, and giving people the option to enjoy hemp or cannabis-derived products responsibly.”

Inside the upcoming Cannabis Café, construction is well underway. Once open, the location will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring an outdoor patio and breezeway bar. The menu will focus on healthy, clean eating — with no deep fryers in sight. Customers can expect dishes made from locally sourced ingredients and, if they choose, a touch of CBD or hemp oil in their favorite drinks or desserts.

However, not everyone in Cape Coral is ready to embrace the Cannabis Café trend. Some residents have expressed hesitation, unsure how such a concept will fit into their community. Michelle Royer, a local resident, shared her perspective: “I think people just need to open their minds a little. If they take the time to understand it, they might realize it’s actually a fun and positive addition to the area.”

Despite the mixed reactions, city officials have welcomed the Cannabis Café project, seeing it as an innovative business that could attract both locals and tourists.

The Cannabis Café movement blends social connection, wellness, and culinary creativity, offering customers a safe and relaxing space to enjoy infused beverages and treats. As more people explore CBD and hemp products for wellness, places like the Seed & Bean Market Cannabis Café provide an inviting way to experience them in a social setting.

The Cape Coral Cannabis Café is expected to open its doors in early December, just in time for the holiday season. With its focus on organic food, community engagement, and mindful consumption, this new spot could set the standard for future Cannabis Café locations across Florida.

Whether you’re a skeptic or a supporter, one thing’s clear the Cannabis Café wave is here to stay, and Cape Coral is about to get its first taste.
