Friday Funny: Girl Tells Her Teachers Her Parents Are Growing 'Weed'

Skylar Holt has some explaining to do!

The young girl had an awkward exchange with her teacher when she spilled the beans that her family was growing weed at home — only the kind of weed she was referring to is of the garden variety!

“When I got to your school, your teacher said, ‘I heard you have a lot of weed at your house,’ ” Skylar’s dad, Dax Holt, says in a video he posted to Facebook. “Are we growing weed at our house?”

“Yeah,” says Skylar.

“A lot of it?” asks her father, to which Skylar responds, “Yeah, just a little bit, but it’s going to grow a lot.”

“Do you want to show people what you’re talking about?” her dad asks.

Friday Funny: Trump has a resignation and a recusal in his first two months.

Interesting week for Jeff Sessions, an avid opponent of recreational marijuana legalization. He just recused himself from any matters that deal with the Trump campaign, as it became apparent that he lied about having contact with the Russian Ambassador last year. This news comes not even a month after Trump's National Security Advisor Michael Flynn resigned for, ahem, secret contact with Russia.

Trump Tuesday: John Oliver Calls For Nationwide Bathroom Ban Against Donald Trump

Last week, the Trump Administration rolled back federal guidelines that required schools to let transgender students use restrooms and dressing rooms that reflect their gender identity. The move was likely influenced by fears that allowing people of different sexes to use the same restroom could be unsafe for young women, but John Oliver of Last Week Tonight says that one of the few people who would do that is President Donald Trump himself.
