Comedian shows how easy it is to get a medical marijuana card in California

We always hear jokes and stories about how easy it is to get a medical marijuana card in California. Walk in with a stubbed toe and walk out with a brick of weed — that’s the assumption, at least. Well, it’s not quite like that, obviously, but how difficult is it, really?

Comedian Ross Everett documented his experience for all of us outside the Golden State to find out just how easy it would be to get his own medical marijuana card.

'Disjointed' TV show gives marijuana art its breakout moment

The new Netflix comedy, 'Disjointed,' is taking marijuana-themed art mainstream by featuring the world’s most famous cannabis strains as interpreted by California artists collective High Art Studios. They are discreet visual renderings of the marijuana experience.

The images are based on vintage travel, circus, magic, fruit crate, rock and pop art styles and do not feature overt marijuana imagery or references. High Art Studios’ mission is to communicate the “magic of marijuana” with dignity and style.

Friday Funny: Donald Trump Just Said The Stupidest Thing About Drugs

We've talked in the past about President Donald Trump's constantly changing view about drugs. He's said both that marijuana laws should be left up to the states but also left the door open for the federal government to crackdown on dispensaries. He's also openly talked about trying to fix opioid crisis in America, but then refuses to give any resources to actually doing anything about it.

Well, if you're confused about President Trump's views about drugs, then you're in luck. Today, the president gave a statement to the press about how to fix America's addiction crisis. The statement speaks for itself:

Trump Tuesday: Donald Trump Launches 'Real News' Series to Promote Government Achievements

"The Late Show" host Stephen Colbert spoofed President Trump's new "Real News" videos in a segment this week by editing the president's daughter-in-law and host of the series into a parody pro-Trump news segment.

Lara Trump, wife of the president's son Eric Trump, hosts the "Real News" video series, which the president promoted on his Facebook page this week. In an apparent effort to fight "fake news," the videos share pro-Trump news stories and statistics.
