Six people busted for Marijuana operation

In what they call a “major operation,” Placer County Sheriff’s Office deputies, detectives and special events (SET) team executed a search warrant at a property on Northridge Road in unincorporated Lincoln and made six arrests, on Monday.

Placer County Sheriff's Office said they “discovered six individuals tending to an extensive marijuana cultivation operation. Deputies counted 5,000 plants that were spread across 10 hoop houses. Additionally, a loaded rifle was found near one of the hoop houses.”

Six arrested, according to the Placer County Sheriff's Office, were Judith Farias-Rodriguez, 48, from Lake Havasu, Arizona, Rigoberto Mendoza-Rivera, 39, from Lincoln, Amadeo Farias-Rodriguez, 58, from Humptulips, Washington, Luis Ruiz-Amezcua, 27, from Lincoln, Rosa Farias-Rodriguez, 35, from Lake Havasu, Arizona, and Marcos Cornejo-Alvarez, 24, from Lincoln.

The individuals arrested are facing charges including conspiracy, possession of marijuana for sale, cultivating more than six marijuana plants, and attempted felony with a firearm. Deputies said they seized nearly $15,000 in cash found on the property.
