Sunbelt Hemp and 39 HEMP are officially announcing their partnership and Florida launch after receiving the nod from the George Crop Improvement Association, a member of the Association of Official Seed Certifying Agencies (AOSCA). Sunbelt Hemp’s hemp seed genetics are the first Officially Certified for distribution in Florida.

Sunbelt Hemp and 39 HEMP are both driving forces in the hemp industry with clients in every legal state nationwide and across the globe. Sunbelt Hemp is a national leader in seed production and cultivation with over 100 years of combined agricultural experience. 39 HEMP utilizes supply chain solutions and blockchain technology to help farmers move their product from seed to sale.

Jazmine Kennedy, President of 39 HEMP, grew up in Mexico Beach (FL) and moved to Denver (CO) with the hopes of one day becoming an industry leader in her home state. After the displacement of her family, due to the devastation of hurricane Michael, and the COVID-19 pandemic leaving many Floridians out of work, Kennedy is more determined than ever to jumpstart the hemp industry in Florida.

“I am excited to spearhead a partnership with Sunbelt Hemp that bridges the gap between established industry professionals and my home state,” said Jazmine Kennedy, President of 39 HEMP. “Florida’s economy has been hit especially hard by the COVID-19 pandemic due to the heavy impact on the hospitality and tourism industries. 39 HEMP’s goal is to put Florida on the map and put people back to work by creating new and lasting jobs in the hemp industry.”

"Sunbelt Hemp is excited to break ground in Florida and provide farmers with quality genetics," said Joel Adams, Co-Founder of Sunbelt Hemp. “39 HEMP’s marketing platform and innovative technology raise the bar for the hemp industry and we are thrilled to be working together.”
