Canada’s recreational cannabis market will open on October 17th and this is a day that many companies, investors, and consumers are looking forward to.

Over the last few years, Canada has emerged as a global cannabis leader and is positioned to strengthen their leading position. We have been monitoring opportunities in this sector and have been keeping an eye on the recent weakness.

The summer tends to be very slow for the cannabis sector and 2018 was no different. Today, we have highlighted an emerging Canadian cannabis producer, Pure Global Cannabis Inc. (PURE.V) (PRCNF).

About Pure Global

Pure Global Cannabis Inc. is a vertically integrated, growth-oriented life sciences cannabis company led by experienced pharma industry, horticultural, and supply chain experts. Pure Global’s wholly owned subsidiary, PureSinse Inc., is a licensed producer under Canada’s Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR), which will be superseded by the Cannabis Act on October 17th, 2018.

Pure Global’s, focus is on producing high-quality cannabis products for medical, wellness, health & beauty, food & beverage, and nutraceutical products for patients, legal adult use and for global distribution. With patent-pending high capacity indoor production methodology that leverages vertical farming, a world-class team of experts from parallel industries, and a passion for bringing best practices into the cannabis sector that consumers can depend upon for quality cannabis products, PURE is positioning itself to be a dominant player in the domestic and international cannabis sector over the coming years.

Story Continues Below

Pure Global represents a differentiated opportunity and we are keeping an eye on this one. The company has several catalysts for growth and today, we have issued an update on the company.

Signs Strategic CBD Agreement with Isodiol

Earlier this month, the company signed a letter of intent with Isodiol International Inc. (ISOL.CN) (ISOLD) for the ongoing supply of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical grade CBD isolates and other potential products.

Isodiol has been focused on expanding its reach and we are monitoring how this relationship adds value to the business. Upon the successful importation and product testing of an initial trial order of raw CBD isolate, the companies intend to establish a definitive supply agreement for the ongoing supply of CBD isolate and intend to explore additional means of collaborating together.

As a GMP certified facility, Isodiol’s subsidiary BSPG Laboratories Ltd. has received government approval from the United Kingdom’s Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency for the manufacturing of CBD. This provides the companies with the facility that is able to produce a product that can be distributed to markets where CBD is legal.

Secures Distribution via Supply Agreement with LPs

In late June, PURE’s wholly-owned subsidiary, PureSinse, signed definitive supply agreements with The Supreme Cannabis Company (FIRE.V) (SPRWF) and two other reputable ACMPR Licensed Producers, from whom PureSinse has purchased various quantities of premium quality medical cannabis that meet the high-quality standard requirements of PURE.

This was a significant announcement and represents a milestone on execution of Phase I of its business model. The cannabis producer will continue to work with Supreme and several other premium quality ACMPR producers while completing final steps for its Sales License from Health Canada. Pure Global is focused on securing strategic relationships to help facilitate growth and we are favorable on this.

Pure Global’s has a unique revenue focused business model We are favorable on its continued execution while Pure Global expects to receive its Sales License in the coming months

We expect the granting of this license to be a catalyst for the company and will monitor this opportunity.

An Emerging Growth Opportunity

Although Pure Global has been executing, the shares have been trading lower with the market and we are monitoring the decline. The cannabis producer has several catalysts for growth and we are bullish on this aspect of the story.
