Israel Prepares to Legalize Marijuana for Recreational Use

Medical marijuana has been legally prescribe to Israeli’s since the early 1990s. That longevity coupled with over 20,000 patients and the world’s premier cannabis research makes Israel (for real) the world’s undisputed marijuana powerhouse.

While America (see: Denver) may soak up the limelight, Israel has been leading the field and pushing the envelope when it comes to marijuana as real medicine, in large part thanks to renowned doctor Raphael Mechoulam‘s world altering discovery of CBD (which stops seizures and is the key to legalization).

Now, Israel gears up to join the worldwide legalization party, and Israel’s powers-at-be sound like they’re well on their way to doing just that.
